Black Magic

Last night after I dropped Sandro off at home I went to the car wash and was there for at least a good hour and a half (I go at night so that I’m not rushed and holding others up). I picked up a bunch of car care products the other day when I saw that my favorite brand, Black Magic, was on sale. After washing the car I dried it off and scrubbed the wheels and tires. Then came the two coats of Turtle Wax Ice, drying off the glass (which is the entire roof of my car) and cleaning it, and polishing the wheels. I hit the tires with Black Magic Tire Wet, and while that was drying I detailed the inside.

Now it’s all pretty.

My weekend

Well, this weekend was fairly boring. Thursday I did just about nothing. Friday I took Gammy on some errands, then came home, picked up Sandro, and washed the car. When we got back home I used some Turtle Wax Ice on the new car. I’ll post pics of my new car once it stops raining again. Today Sandro came over and we spent the day being lazy together. Nothing special, just movies, TV, a nap, and dinner. He wasn’t feeling well, so no hanky panky either.

Paying My Dues

I prepared my taxes last night, which is both a blessing and a curse. It really shows me how much a year I don’t make, but like all things this will change as time goes on. I make enough to get by without scraping by most of the time.

Anyway, I was thinking of itemizing and claiming all of my work gear (from my handgun right down to my handcuff key) but I get a hell of a lot more back with just being a student. Last year I got a nice return, but this year I got twice as much because I was a student for the entire year. I’ll probably end up getting things out of collections and saving the rest, or getting work done on my car. Who knows. A new notebook crossed my mind…

I also found something that I had to share. Now, I’ve used this brand of shave cream in the past in a nasty Sandalwood odor variety, but while at QFC last night I found a bottle of Alba Coconut Lime Shave Cream. They also had Mango Vanila and Aloe Mint. I absolutely love this stuff because after shaving it doesn’t feel like my face was put in a blender like it usually does. Alba makes shave foam too, although I’m a creamy kinda guy.
