Jake’s Life

I’m Jake, 24, originally from Southern California and now living in the Pacific Northwest. I work full time at night and recently finished up a degree in Criminal Justice. I’m gay too, if it matters, and working on life with someone I love.

Jake’s Life was created a few years ago to allow me to record my life (hence the name) and to connect with others who are doing the same. I’ve been doing this for the past few years and have really enjoyed it so far, and come to enjoy it more each day. I feel that forming connections online are largely no different than forming connections in person: Everyone has an opportunity to learn and teach. My blog also doesn’t focus on only one topic, but includes several facets of my thoughts and interests such as mobile technology, blogging, criminal justice, games, firearms, and lots of other things.

This is not an anonymous blog like some others (or yours) but there is a degree of anonymity because of issues with work. I do have certain posts protected, and if you’d like to read them just ask (click the link in the sidebar).
