Comments(0) The first step can apply to any blogging software or service (Wordpress, Blogger, Drupal. TypePad, Mambo, etc.) but the inserting of the HTML code may be in a different place for you. Either way, if you find your template which contains your <head> </head> tags you should be fine.
Step 1: Make your favicon.
It’s really not that hard. Go to Favicon from Pics and select an image file on your computer to upload, and a few seconds later you have a favicon. I chose a simple image with “JL” in it that I made, but you can choose more complex images such as photos. Favicon from Pics even lets you add scrolling text or animate the favicon.
Step 2: Upload your favicon.
With Wordpress, the best place is in the main /Wordpress folder on your hosting server. Just drop it in.
Step 3: Add the code.
Login to your Wordpress Admin area, go to Presentation, and choose the Theme Editor for your theme.
Choose the header.php file to edit…this is the template file which contains the <head> tags in it.
insert the following code anywhere between your <head> and </head> tags:

Okay, mine’s higher than the picture. I’m not sure what happened, but the other day I woke up and my mid to upper spine was killing me. I was awake for a few hours, went to the store, came home, and went back to sleep. I wasn’t sleeping in a weird position or anything, just flat and normal. Nothing was sticking into my back. I wake up and I felt nearly paralyzed. I went all day yesterday feeling like that, and I woke up today feeling like that too. We’re on one night a week of mandatory overtime right now due to staffing shortages too, and which night do I pick as mine? Saturday. Of course.
It’s borderline excruciating. It hurts if I stand up straight, if I hunch over, so I have to find a sweet spot between the two to stay in. Every time I breath it hurts, and while I can turn my neck just fine, my waist is another story. I’m not really sure how I’m going to wear all my gear tonight, especially my vest.

Click my rating for your own. And just a note, if you use Wordpress or Blogger when you enter your URL it only takes your first page of words, so if you have a category that covers most of your posts use that link.
Comments(0) I replaced the drop down Category menu with a Cloud for now, but I think I like it better. It crams more content into more space, and doesn’t bog the eyes down doing it. I may convert most of my categories to tags since Wordpress supports them with 2.3, and keep only a few categories to cover those tags.
Comments(0) It seems that when I upgraded Wordpress recently my plugin to shove the categories in a drop down menu got broke.Until I figure something out the category menu won’t be up. It should only take a day or two though.
