Jake’s Life

The promotion to Corporal took effect and so far it’s okay. There is the usual folks who all of a sudden go out of their way for me, and then there’s those folks who do the opposite. It’s all a part of moving up though I suppose. I also made a fabulous arrest recently, details to disseminated to certain individuals.

I need to get some transmission work done on my Bird. I really wish that I knew someone that can do it for a discount since I can get the parts at dealer cost.

School is actually going well for once. I’m at A’s in both classes, which is a first for me in a while. It’s not unusual, just hasn’t been often in the past few terms.

I got my patrol car back from the shop last night. Someone decided to punch the horn in it so hard that it just stayed on. Not me, by the way. It’ll be nice getting back into it, since I seem to be fumbling for switches in my temporary car.

Not much else going on. Work’s okay, school’s okay, social life is…well, maybe one will be there soon.
