Jake’s Life

Been a week now since my last blog entry, and things are going just about the same. I got my insurance money, which means a car is not far off now. My roommate seems to love control, so he keeps the one mailbox key we have on his keychain and checks it whenever he wants to, or whenever he is expecting important mail, so the check sat in the mailbox for almost two weeks. It was post marked in April, I got it just the other night. But then again he’s also amazed when the cat shits in the litter box and it smells like shit. Must be why he knows I work nights, but doesn’t connect it to the fact that I sleep during the day. He should just give up movie directing now and go into Quantum Physics. He’s much more suited. But who am I to judge…sometimes on my nights off when I’m up all night I leave my room and open the door to the fridge, creating 2 decibals of noise. Fo shame, bizzle!

Work’s still going great. I’m diggin’ South Snohomish County. It’s quiet enough that I don’t pull what little hair I have out of my head, and busy enough that the night flies by. I’ve been making really good friends with another officer there. When someone flies to back you up, that’s friendship. We went bowling the other night at 1am and had just about a blast. Kenmore Lanes, minus the scuzzy clientele, coke-sniffing girl in the parking lot, and cook who looks like he belongs at a run down diner in the middle of the desert, is pretty fun.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand is coming out on the 26th, and should be really, really good. Of course I never get to see movies on the first day, and will probably end up going alone, it’ll still be fun. I love the X-Men universe. There have been many fan made trailers popping up lately that are equally good. Check them out. Also Fox aired a seven minute eXpose on the film, which is below.
