Jake’s Life

Well, last night was interesting.

At work I saw a way to get the shift and hours I want so that I don’t have to withdraw from school. This is a good thing because I am not willing to sacrifice my education right now for my current employer. I also got to talk to someone that I haven’t talked to in about eight years. We went to high school together, and at the time both being hormonal, angry, sarcastic pricks, I didn’t realize he actually considered me a friend. We had a good chat and will hopefully be able to kick it soon.

When I got home from work I got the insurance paperwork for my settlement, so in the next few weeks I’ll be looking at cars. Yes, finally a car. And tac lights, sexy gear, and other toys. But after the car I will most likely (comment directed towards those with initials “A.C.”) save it. Never had a car, even though for the last year I’ve spent 40+ hours a week driving one.
